Lloyd D. McMillan

Deacon Lloyd D. McMillan age 78 of Marianna, FL passed away Saturday January 28, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11a.m.Saturday February 4th 2017 at the Second West Missionary Baptist Church located 4110 Herring Avenue Marianna, FL with the Rev. Eric Griffin Pastor Presiding,   His son Rev. Randy McMillan Eulogist, Reverends AL Davis, George Bowers, Eddie Bowers and Minister Cleo Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Orange Hill Cemetery in Marianna, FL with Military Honors and with Mckinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton directing. Deacon McMillan will lie in repose at the church one hour before service time. The family will receive friends at the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church located 3115 Union Hill Road Marianna, FL. Friday February 03, 2017 from 5 to 7p.m.  

Deacon Lloyd McMillan was born on January 5, 1939 in Ft. Meade, FL to the late Lloyd D. McMillan II and Helen Beckford McMillan. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Galilee M.B. Church in Ft. Meade. On November 20, 1961 he joined the United States Army.

On July 21, 1962, he was united in holy matrimony to Florida Bell and to this union three children were born.

He moved from Washington, DC to Marianna Florida and he joined the Union Hill M. B. Church ordained as a Deacon, and served faithfully until his death. 

He was preceded in death by His Father: Lloyd McMillan, Jr.; His Mother: Helen Beckford; His Stepfather: Lebert Beckford; His Siblings: Leatrice Franklin, 

Theodore and Lorenzo McMillan. 

He is survived by His Loving Wife of 54 years: Florida Bell McMillan;  His Three Children: Ronald S. McMillan of Marianna, FL; Reverend Randy McMillan (Sharon) of Alford, FL; Yolanda McMillan-Oates (Alonzo) of Mount Pleasant, FL. Nine Grandchildren: Terohn Payne (Rachael) of Panama City, FL; Asia McMillan of Orlando, FL; Randyn McMillan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Yamari Pollocks of Tallahassee, FL; Vivian Pollocks (Lexi) of Tallahassee, FL; Aziya McMillan of Pensacola, FL; Ayana Oates of Mt. Pleasant, FL; Sh’Randyss McMillan of Alford, FL; Alonzo Oates of Mt. Pleasant, FL. Three Great-Grandchildren: Eden, Eva, and Jax Payne. One Sibling: Wilhelmina McMillan. In-Laws: Elamay McMillan; Ruth Baker; Mary C. McKinnie (Shira, Jr); Verda Bowers ( Rev. George); Sonya Bowers (Eddie); Voncile Giles; Hampshire Peterson; Katherine Johnson (Cleo); Cassandra Bell; Twina Sharp. A host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Altermease Williams

Mrs. Altermease Williams age 78 of Campbellton, Florida passed away Friday, January 27th at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.  The Funeral Service will be            2 p. m., Saturday, February 4, 2017 at New Bethel C. M. E. Church located at 2487 Hwy 2 Campbellton, FL, where Reverend Freeman Walker is pastor/officiating, Memorialization  will be by cremation  with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton directing.

Visitation will held from 4:00 to 6:00 p. m. Friday, February 3rd at The McKinnie Funeral Home Chapel. 

Altermease Vicks Williams was the second child, born to the late Alton Terry Vicks and Luberta Young Vicks in Campbellton, FL. She attended and graduated from St. Paul High School and accepted Christ as her personal savior.  She was married to Lenoris Williams, and to this union one child was born.  She lived in Newark, NJ for many years and then relocated to Muncie, IN and pursued a career in retail sales until she retired a few years ago.

She was preceded in death by Her Husband; Her Parents; One Son; and Three Siblings.

 She leaves to cherish her memories,

One special Step-Great-Grandson: Laderious Javon McKinnie 

One Daughter-In-Law: Annie Ramsey Vicks 

Her Best Friend: Georgia Mae Lockridge and many friends & extended family members.

Luke Edward Walker, Jr.

Mr. Luke Edward Walker Jr age 28 of Chipley, FL and formerly of Graceville, FL passed away Tuesday December 27th 2016. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday January 7th 2017 at the Mckinnie Funeral Home Chapel with Elder James M. Bighem and Elder Carolyn Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Campellton, FL with Mckinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton FL directing. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7pm Friday January 6th 2017 at the Mckinnie Funeral Home Chapel.

Luke Edward Walker, Jr. was born in Jackson Hospital on November 12, 1988 to Tanya and Luke Walker.  He grew up in Graceville, FL and attended Graceville High School.  From an early age he was extremely active sports and received numerous awards and trophies while playing pee wee and middle school football. He played many positions, but excelled at running back.  

He was a hard worker and while employed at the Rehabilitation Center in Chipley, received compliments on his work ethics.  He has also worked in construction and a number of little side jobs.

He moved to Chipley and on August 29, 2012 married the love of his life (high school sweetheart) Precious Lashae’ Sherrod.  He was a loving husband so affectionate and never missed a day to tell me he loved me! To this union two children (Nioaki Walker and Luke Walker III) were born. He was a very loving and caring father, but most importantly he was present in their lives.

He was preceded in death by His Grandfather: Luke Walker, Jr.; His Nephews: Ja’Khadyn and Ja’Mir Giles.

He leaves to treasure his memories, His Loving Wife: Precious Lashae’ Walker; His Children: Lucas Walker, Nioaki Walker and Luke Walker, III; His Mother: Tanya Watford; His Father: Luke Walker, Sr.; His Brothers: Cortney and James Giles; His Stepsister: Rakia Watford and a host of other relatives and friends.
