Carolyn Lucille Wimberly

Carolyn Lucille Wimberly age 72 of Marianna passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017. She was born on March 3, 1945 to the late Olin and Olga Wimberly. Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Alliance. She loved her Lord and Savior.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Phillip Anderson Jr. She is survived by her children, Timothy Anderson (Mary) and Terri Mattson; grandchildren, Adam Mattson, Brandon Mickel, Erica Anderson, Nikki Anderson, Gabriel Anderson, Matthew Wiggins and Savannah Anderson; great-grandchild, Liam Mickel, and cousin Ann Jackson.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be submitted online at www.mariannachapelfh.com.
