Lillian Eva Brock Stanton Lillian Eva Brock Stanton

Lillian Eva Brock Stanton passed away peacefully surround by her family on June 15, 2017. Lillian was born October 31, 1928 in McCullough, AL to John Harvey Brock and Eva Lucretia Murph Brock the only living child of that marriage.  She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, grandparents Caleb and Martha Elizabeth Murph, her husband of 59 years, the love of her life, Hiram C. Stanton Jr and half-brother Charlie Brock.

 She is survived by her only child Deborah Stanton Sims (John), grandchildren Greta Sims Charles (Steven), John Stanton (Stan) Sims (Elaine), Russell Sims (Melanie), Kara Sims, great-grand-children Trent Charles (Haley), Gracie Charles, Alexis Sims, Lenzie Sims, Jake Sims, Abby Sims and Nathan Anderson all of Marianna, FL.  Half-sisters Annette Brock Kennedy of  Montgomery, AL, Loretta Brock Jackson (Terry) of Evergreen, AL, half-sister-in-law Paula Brock (Charlie - deceased) of Evergreen, AL, Half-brothers Tommy “Buddy” Brock (Jean) of Longview, TX, John Brock (Phyllis) of Lake Martin, AL,  Aunt Dolly Nell Murph (Chester - deceased) of Pensacola and sister-in-law Emma Jean Stanton Jansen of Jacksonville, FL, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A  very special thanks to Britany and the staff at Wesley Haven Villa, Chelsea, Kris and Heather from Regency Hospice for all the love, care and support that they provided for mom.  

 Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Campfire Kids, 1814 Creighton Road, Pensacola, FL 32504, in mom’s memory.

 Services for Lillian will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Faith Chapel South 100 Beverly Parkway with Pastor Lavon Pettis, Evangel Church, Marianna, FL officiating and eulogy provided by Martha Murph Bell, Montgomery, AL.  Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery on Scenic Hwy. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am  until 11:00 am prior to the service.                     

Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons, Stan Sims, Russell Sims, Steven Charles, Trent Charles, Jake Sims and Nathan Anderson.
