Ms. Josie Bell Reeves, age 80, of Blountstown, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Jackson Hospital. 

Ms. Reeves was a member of the Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church. She retired from the Calhoun County School Board.  To know her was to love her.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1:00 PM from the sanctuary of the Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 16076 SE River Street in Blountstown, Florida with the Reverend Angus Jackson, Jr. (pastor) and the Reverend David Rhone, Sr., officiating. Interment will be in the Magnolia Cemetery in Blountstown, Florida. Vann Funeral Home in charge.

Ms. Reeves will lie in state at the church from 12:00 Noon until time for the service.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Ms. Reeves leaves to cherish a lifetime precious memories, a loving family:

Four Daughters: Barbara Ann Freeman of San Diego, California; Cynthia E. Baker of Blountstown, Florida; Elder Shelia Yvonne Baker-Trammell and her husband Paterick of Spring Lake, North Carolina; and Karen Denise Baker of Fayetteville, North Carolina

Two Sons: Joseph Daniel Baker; and Lyndom B. Baker both of Blountstown, Florida

Thirteen Grandchildren: Oscar, Jr., Erikia, Teresa, Latoya, Acquinonette, Michael, Devin, Lyndom, II, Jolethia, Damaris, Jocelyn, Jasmine, and Israel

Special Great Grandchildren: Jamarcus, Javon, Jordan, Janysia, Josie, Brandon, Yasmine, and Zariah; numerous other great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren

Godchildren: Kenyari Norton of Woodville, Florida, Bryson White and Benjamin White both of Blountstown, Florida

Special Friends: Beatrice Moore; Carrie Baker; and Mary Lee Mosley all of Blountstown, Florida

An Adopted Daughter: Shelia Solomon of Bristol, Florida

And numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
