Altermease Williams Altermease Williams

Mrs. Altermease Williams age 78 of Campbellton, Florida passed away Friday, January 27th at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.  The Funeral Service will be            2 p. m., Saturday, February 4, 2017 at New Bethel C. M. E. Church located at 2487 Hwy 2 Campbellton, FL, where Reverend Freeman Walker is pastor/officiating, Memorialization  will be by cremation  with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton directing.

Visitation will held from 4:00 to 6:00 p. m. Friday, February 3rd at The McKinnie Funeral Home Chapel. 

Altermease Vicks Williams was the second child, born to the late Alton Terry Vicks and Luberta Young Vicks in Campbellton, FL. She attended and graduated from St. Paul High School and accepted Christ as her personal savior.  She was married to Lenoris Williams, and to this union one child was born.  She lived in Newark, NJ for many years and then relocated to Muncie, IN and pursued a career in retail sales until she retired a few years ago.

She was preceded in death by Her Husband; Her Parents; One Son; and Three Siblings.

 She leaves to cherish her memories,

Her Siblings: Mary (Willie) Johnson of Muncie, IN 

Cleother (Willa) Vicks of New Castle, DE 

Alton (Catherine) Vicks of Campbellton, FL 

Edward Earl (Nancy) Vicks of Campbellton, FL 

Henry Vicks of Lawton, OK 

Three Aunts: Ruth Clark of St. Albins, NJ 

Gertrude Curry of Niagara Falls, NY 

Chelcie (Shira, Sr) McKinnie of Campbellton, FL 

Six Grandchildren: Imani, Taylor, & Kali Stinson; Samir & Mikel Williams 

Eleven Great-grandchildren 

One special Step-Great-Grandson: Laderious Javon McKinnie 

One Daughter-In-Law: Annie Ramsey Vicks 

Her Best Friend: Georgia Mae Lockridge and many friends & extended family members.
