Ann Parmer Dickson

Ann Parmer Dickson, resident of Chattahoochee, FL for 67 years, was born December 3, 1951 in Quincy, Florida and went to be with her Lord on February 2, 2019 in Tallahassee, Florida, surrounded by her loving family.  Ann was a remarkable woman who was an avid reader, enjoyed doing cross word puzzles and crochet, watching classic movies on Netflix, Seminole football, and traveling to St. Augustine, FL, her favorite vacation destination.  She retired from Florida State Hospital after 38 years as a Medical Unit Supervisor. Ann loved the beach, but most of all she loved her husband William Dickson.  Ann and William were married on July 16, 1970 and had two wonderful children Bryan and Amy.  She did not know her love could be any greater than for her husband and children until her two precious grandchildren Maison and Parker were born. Ann will be missed deeply by her family and friends.

Ann is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, William Dickson; one son, Bryan Dickson (Alexa) of Sneads, FL; one daughter, Amy Dickson of Sneads, FL; her parents James and Ross Parmer; one brother Jamie Parmer (Rebecca) of Sneads, FL; two grandchildren, Maison Dickson Fulton and Parker Lee Dickson; and several nieces, nephews, special cousins and extended family.

Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Lavenia Parker Parmer.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM EST with Rev. Mark Moore officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on February 5, 2019 at 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM EST.  Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Chattahoochee, FL.  Flowers will be accepted or donations to the Quincy Music Theater at 1189 E. Washington St. Quincy, FL 32351.
