Chester Paul “Chuck” Theall, Jr.

Mr. Chester Paul “Chuck” Theall, Jr., age 55, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 26, 2018 in Marianna, Florida.  A long-time resident of Jackson County Florida, he was born on July 25, 1963 in Abbeville, Louisiana.  Chuck was a veteran of the US Army and served his country honorably during Desert Storm and Grenada.  He was a faithful employee with the Florida Department of Corrections at Apalachee Correctional Institution for 25 years.  He loved to fish and spend time with his family.  Chuck was a recently ordained minister in the Freewill Baptist denomination and was devoted to his ministry.  He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Chuck is survived by his children, one daughter, Paula Theall (AJ) of Dothan, Alabama and one son, Billy Theall of Sneads, FL; his mother, Betty Book (Donald) of Erath, Louisana; a special friend and companion, Lisa McDonald of Sneads, FL; one sister, Dawn Armond of Louisana; three brothers, Richard Theall, Mark Theall and Devin Book all of Lousiana; three sisters in law, Margaret Forehand of Sneads, FL, Nita Watson (Joe) of Caryville, FL and Clydette Maitland of Sneads, FL; two brothers in law, Chris Cooley of Sneads, FL and David Cooley (Allison) of Jacksonville, FL as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Chuck was preceded in death by his wife Janice Theall and his father Chester Paul Theall, Sr.

Visitation with family and friends will be at McAlpin Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST with Funeral Services on Thursday, November 29, 2018 10:00 AM CST at McAlpin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Hamblen and Rev. Irvin Jennison officiating.  Interment will be private on a later date.
