Rubie Yon Davis Jones

Mrs. Rubie Yon Davis Jones, age 101, of Blountstown, FL, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Tuesday, May 2, 2018, in Newport Va.

She was known as “Big Mama”, “Aunt Doll Baby”, “Ru”, and “Sis” by her family and friends in Calhoun County she was a die-hard fisherman of Blountstown that lived in Graves Creek Community.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Blountstown, FL with Rev. C.L. Wilson Pastor.

Interment will be in the Graves Creek Cemetery, Blountstown, FL

The viewing will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Mrs. Jones will lie in repose at the church from 11:00 A.M. until time for the service.

She live to cherish her precious memories, a loving and devoted family: One granddaughter: Myra Corbin (Cleveland)

Two grandsons: James Thomas Jr. (Deanna), Bruce Green (Lillie “Diane”)

Five great grandchildren: Janiya Ruby Thomas, Kwani Woods (Keith), Charina Marlowe (Leo), Nicholas Green, and Ryan Green

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, acquaintances and dear friends
