Bessie Swails Gatlin Bessie Swails Gatlin

Mrs. Bessie Swails Gatlin of Blountstown, FL transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the River Valley Rehabilitation Center in Blountstown, FL.

She was a member of the St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church with 16345 SE River St Blountstown, FL with Rev. Dr. C.L. Wilson, Pastor and Minister Michael Roland, Eulogist.

Interment will be in the Magnolia Cemetery.

Vann Funeral Home will be in charge of the service.

The viewing will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Vann Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gatlin will lie in repose at the church from 11:00 A.M. until time for the service. 

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Loving Husband: Willie James Gatlin, of Blountstown, FL

Five Daughters: Lucille Gatlin, Christell Jackson, Cathy Bess (Henry) and Linda Baker (Larry), all of Blountstown, FL; Marilyn Roland (Maurice) of Pensacola, FL

Son: Franky Gatlin (Jeanette) of Pensacola, FL

Sister: Thelma Canty (Clifford) of Tampa, FL

A Granddaughter she raised as her own: Pat Gatlin of Blountstown, FL

25 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren and 11 Great, Great Grandchildren

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends
