Mr.  Willie James Wilson, Sr. age 90 of Webb, Alabama passed away Sunday, May 6th at Bonifay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bonifay, Florida.  Funeral Services was held at 2 p. m., Saturday, May 12, 2018 at McKinnie Funeral Home Chapel located at 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, FL, with Reverend David Britt, Elder Carolyn Morgan and Brother Lenoris Dixon officiating, Memorialization by cremation with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton in charge of arrangements.

Willie James (B’ buddy) Wilson was born on August 28, 1927 to the late Ollie Mae Wilson and the late Charlie Redding. He lived most of his life in Cottonwood, Alabama and married the late Lula Mae Wilson. He was a member of Union Hall Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his son: Louis Junior Wilson; his parents; five siblings: Lucy Collins, Katie Clemmons, Ida Bell Wilson, Lorene Wilson and Jonathan Wilson.

He is survived by seven children: Christine Wilson, Janny Mae Wilson, Willie James Wilson Jr., Kane Edward Wilson, and Leroy Wilson all of Webb, AL; Virgina Wilson and John Lee Wilson both  of Dothan, AL. Thirteen siblings: Dora Britt, Annie Hope, and Willie C. Wilson all of Campbellton, FL, Judy Miller (Joe), Madie Dell Russ, Arlane Douglas, Janeria Woodard, and Eva Fletcher all of Dothan, AL, Adell Morris of Cottonwood, AL, Vetchus Lynn of Raleigh, NC, Talmadge Redding of Ashford, AL, William Wilson (Dorothy) of Baltimore, MD, and Wyles C. Redding of Detroit, MI. and a host grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
