Ms. Elizabeth Jackson Borders, of Greenwood, Florida, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 2nd in the comforts of her home surrounded by her family  She was 88 years old.

She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church.

Precious memories will forever linger with her caring and devoted family; five daughters, Mildred Borders of Tallahassee, Florida, Helen Borders of Marianna, Florida, Alice Bandele and husband Ako of Sneads, Florida, Deloris Borders (Carl) of Dorchester, Massachusetts and Brenda Borders of Elkridge, Maryland; four sons, Daniel Borders of Greenwood, Florida, Moses Borders and wife Brenda K of Derry, New Hampshire, James Borders of Boston, Massachusetts and Jospeh Borders and wife Elnora of Blountstown, Florida; daughter-in-law, Viccie Borders of Greenwood, Florida; one sister, Margaret Jackson of Orlando, Florida; two brothers, J.D. Jackson and wife Ossie and Davis Granberry and wife Clemmie both of Orlando, Florida; sister-in-law, Estelle Borders of Safety Harbor, Florida, 31  grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday, January 12th from 5-7 at Peoples Funeral Home.

A homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, January 13th at 12 noon at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Dwight Cockerham, Sr., Rev. Isaac Williams, Rev. Lucious Williams, Rev. David Cobb and Elder Jordon Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the caring staff of Peoples Funeral Home in Marianna, Florida.

The remains will lie-in-repose for one hour prior to the 12 noon funeral time on Saturday at Mt. Tabor.
