Mother Bernice G. Patterson of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at her residence.

Mother Patterson was a member of Gethsemane Church of Christ Written In Heaven where she was a Church Mother. Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. from the sanctuary of Gethsemane Church of Christ Written In Heaven located at 4599 Wintergreen Road in Greenwood, Florida 32443, where Presiding Elder Horace Horne is Pastor. Interment in Shiloh Cemetery in Bascom, Florida. Vann Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Patterson will in repose at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service.

The family will receive friends at Vann Funeral Home on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. 

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Three Daughters: Mavis Hooks (John); Bishop Catherine Baskin (Billy), and Eva Shavers all of Miami, Florida

Three Sons: William Patterson of Tampa, FL; Willie Patterson of Marianna, FL; and Johnny Patterson of Tamarac, FL

Three Brothers: Wilson Williams (Florine) and Cornelius Williams, both of Miami, FL and Hardy Williams of Tampa, FL

37 Grandchildren, 99 Great Grandchildren, 25 Great Great Grandchildren 

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many treasured friends
