Miller & Miller opened in high fashion - First Nissan sold on day one

Miller & Miller opened its doors officially last Friday morning with an eager crowd waiting to take part in the multi-million-dollar facility’s opening.  The crowd anxiously awaited the ribbon cutting as they looked at the history represented in those who were present to participate in the cutting. Creshull Harrison, Sr., his wife Marianna, daughters and son, Ricky and Tami Miller, Dustin Miller, Senator George Gainer, Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, Representative Brad Drake all were present with the dealership represented by the first owners of the Chevrolet dealership present along with the present owners.  The Harrisons opened the dealership before Quen and Ann Rahal purchased Harrison Chevrloet in 1996. Rahal partnered with Ricky Miller and in 2014, Miller took over the dealership and partnered with his son Dustin in 2017.

The festivities began Thursday evening with a pre-grand opening for those who had been involved in the new Nissan dealership from the beginning concept through its coming to fruition.  Food, music, and socialization was what was on the menu.

Friday morning, Mabry and Murphy Mitchell, daughters of general manager Michael John Mitchell and Maredith Mitchell were front and center to cut the ribbon.

There was more excitement than lots of food offerings and souvenirs when the first Nissan vehicle was sold early Friday morning.  Ben and Nikki Maddox were the first to buy a 2018 Nissan Titan from salesman Mark Bell.  The Miller & Miller team took care of their every need and they drove out happy customers.

The grand opening continued through Saturday with Monday settling down to all business to the newest dealership in Jackson County.
