Robert “Bob“ Ross

bob-rossRobert Bob Ross husband to Janice Sullivan Ross who were both serving as Missionaries in Guatemala, died in an automobile accident on September 2, 2009. Memorial services for Bob and Janice will be held on Saturday September 26 at 2:00 PM at Marvin Chapel Free Will Baptist Church under the direction of James and Sikes Funeral Maddox Chapel of Marianna.

Bob Ross attended Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, NC. Following that he served 3 years in the U.S. Navy. He later moved to Tallahassee FL where he met Janice Sullivan and they were married on April 18, 1987. He is survived by his parents Harold and Jean Ross of LaGrange GA and a brother Billy and his wife Sandra also of LaGrange, 3 children, Adam Ross and Mary Ross both of Aberdeen NC and Jonathan Ross and wife Danielle of Jacksonville FL. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.

Together they began their mission in 2005 and were serving in Panajachel Guatemala.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Marvin Chapel Free Will Baptist Church building fund or to your favorite charity.
