Sexual Assault Survivors Group - hosted by Gulf Coast Sexual Assault Program for ages 18 and above first & third Thursdays of each month in 2017. Location: Gulf Coast sap Program office 2901 Madison St., Marianna from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Refreshments provided.  The purpose of this group is to provide support for adult survivors of sexual assault and those who were sexually abused as children. Survivors will be provided an atmosphere that helps them gain an understanding about sexual assault and how it has affected their lives. This group will create an empowering environment where participants can learn new coping skills, identify personal goals and build relationships. LOCAL MASONIC LODGE TO HOST PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE EVENT - On Friday April 21st, 2017 "Harmony Masonic Lodge No. 3" will host its "Public Open House Event" at the Lodge in Marianna from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM. The event is free and open to the public. The public is invited to attend a short program which will briefly look at Freemasonry, the rich 187-year history of Harmony Masonic Lodge, and include a guided tour of the 'Lodge Room'. The roots of Freemasonry and the impact it has upon the world, our nation, sponsored charity programs, and our community will be presented. There will be no soliciting and visitors should feel free to ask questions and look around undisturbed as they view some of the artifacts and the inside of the Lodge. Refreshments will be served. Alford Community Health Clinic (ACHC) will be open from 10 AM until the last patient is seen, Saturday, April 22.  ACHC is a free clinic for patients who do not have medical insurance and who meet federal income guidelines.  The Clinic is staffed by qualified physicians, nurses and courteous assistants dedicated to providing quality health care to those with short-term illnesses, as well as chronic conditions. Appointments are available by telephoning 850-272-0101 or 209-5501, and walk-ins are always welcome. All patients are urged to sign-in before 11:00 AM. Alford Community Health Clinic is located two blocks east of Hwy 231 in Alford, at 1770 Carolina Street.  Please note that the Clinic is only open on the 4th Saturday of each month.

St. Joseph Masonic Lodge #99 - 16th Spring Fun Day, Sat., April 22, Greenwood Town Park, Fort Road/Hwy. 162, Greenwood, FL, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. BBQ ribs, hot fish sandwich, sweet potato pies, hamburgers and hot dogs, and all kinds of baked goods and other tasty foods. The Marianna High School Track and Field will be hosting a car wash and fish fry on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. The fund-raising even will be held at the Marianna Auto Zone. The team members will be soliciting funds for travel to the regional and state competition and for their annual track and field banquet.
