Central Panhandle Pesticide Training Series is February 18-21 and will be hosted in Chipley at the Washington County Extension Office (1424  Jackson Ave, Chipley, FL 32428). The daily sessions serve as review for specific exams for any individuals interested in obtaining a new license or category, as well as earning CEUs for those with an existing license. Registration is $10/session, coffee and snacks will be provided but not lunch. Sessions start each day with registration at 7:45 AM (CST) and end by 12 PM followed by exams for those interested. Sexual Assault Survivors Group - hosted by Gulf Coast Sexual Assault Program for ages 18 and above first & third Thursdays of each month in 2018. Location: Gulf Coast SAP Program office 2901 Madison St., Marianna from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Refreshments provided.  The purpose of this group is to provide support for adult survivors of sexual assault and those who were sexually abused as children. Survivors will be provided an atmosphere that helps them gain an understanding about sexual assault and how it has affected their lives. This group will create an empowering environment where participants can learn new coping skills, identify personal goals and build relationships. COST: $25 WITH ALL PROCEEDS BENEFITING THE POPLAR SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2019. Class is for ages 18 and up. Note the minimum required age to obtain a concealed weapons permit is 21. The Southern Cotton Organization wishes to invite cotton farmers from the Tri-state area to attend their annual banquet dinner on February 28th from 6-8pm (CST) hosted at the Graceville Civic Center in Graceville, Florida. The goal is to recognize the resilience of our cotton farmers and to grow and instill a feeling of comradery in the southeast, especially this year after the devastation inflicted by Hurricane Michael.
