Paul and Tama Huang celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with family and friends on March 2 at the Gazebo Restaurant in downtown Marianna. Over 60 guests attended the party, including sons Mark and Scott, daughter-in-law Julie, and grandchildren Brian and Alexandra. Celebrants and guests enjoyed a buffet style dinner that included fifteen dishes and desserts, each prepared to perfection by Gazebo owner Evan Foster. Blue and gold table decorations were prepared by Frances Pitts and Gina Allen and included flowers, candle-in-glass centerpieces, souvenir wedding pictures, and thank you cards. Royce Reagan provided audio/video equipment that allowed everyone to enjoy a special anniversary slideshow, as well as stories shared by friends and family.
The Huangs were married in Miaoli, Taiwan, but have lived in Marianna for the past 45 years. Paul and Tama thank all their friends who have made Marianna a wonderful place for them to call home since 1968.
