Marianna Garden Club holds Arbor Day event. In Florida we usually celebrate Arbor Day in January. As we are all aware the weather has been just a little strange. With high hopes for a warm and pleasant day the Garden Club was chosen to observe our Arbor Day event on  the National date of April 27. We will gather on the lawn of the First Presbyterian Church at the corner of Clinton and Jefferson Streets, 10:00 a.m. A maple tree has been planted on the grounds. This young tree will be dedicated to the future generations who will enjoy the beauty and cooling shade it will provide. We hope the community will join this year’s celebration of Arbor Day.
